Batch Reporting
The Batch Reporting application utilises both Progress® and Cyberquery technologies to efficiently execute and distribute critical operational and management reports throughout an organisation. The system creates “batches” that contain groups of reports that are run and distributed at various times throughout the day. There are six pre-defined batches and three batches available for ad-hoc reporting requirements. Users can insert any number of reports into the Batches depending on when the report is needed and the data that must be available at the time of running the report.
Each report within each batch can be customised to define the output format (HTML, PDF, CSV, Excel, text), delivery method (email or Intranet) and the distribution requirements (via email). The six pre-defined batches will execute reports based on the following times:
- Batch 1 – Daily in the afternoon
- Batch 2 – Daily in the evening
- Batch 3 – Daily in the morning
- Batch 4 - Weekly
- Batch 5 - Monthly
- Batch 6 – Ad-hoc (once-off)
- Batch 7-9 - Spare
