Agility Reporting Solution ( OCTOPUS ) is a software and infrastructure reporting solution specifically tailored to broker and non -broker participants and more specifically, those utilising the servcies of third - party clearers.

The solution has been designed to :

- Provide clients with a far greater level of transparency around their data through customised views into a stand - alone database, specifically tailored to meet the information and decision making needs.

- Reduce and in many cases remove the impact and the need for infrastucture modifications on both the third - party clearer and client environments. This is achieved via a hosted environment that houses the Octopus database, report creation and distribution tools and customised report logic.

- Enables the client to have complete freedom in how they generate, customise and distribute information within their organisation.

- Significantly reduce the overall support effort in resolving issues / questions that the client may have in relation to the underlying client and trading data.

WebCats & RepCats Applications

The complete vision of Octopus has two components corresponding with its primary functionality. RepCats and WebCats are reporting tools fitting into Octopus infrastructure.

WebCats is a web based application written in ASP.NET which is hosted on Agility web server.

• The WebCats report tool is an Agility product that allows users to organise and catalogue business reports which have been developed by Agility.

• It is deployed over an encrypted internet link (accessible via secure URL) that will enable users to generate adhoc reports based on their customised list of available reports

• WebCats utilises a database and services technology infrastructure to configure the client side applications and invoke and display reports.

• The data contained in each report will be as up to date as required, i.e. the data upload. Each WebCat deployment can be tailored to meet the specific reporting needs of the user – that is, each user can have their own customised list of reports.

• The reporting tool will connect to the hosted environment via Web Services to access both the report logic and underlying data.

• A WebCats management tool is also available that will be administered by Agility to setup users and report library’s for each user. The management tool also captures statistics on report usage, etc.

• Process can be set to run intraday as frequently as required.

• WebCats application allows users to process any data source reports.
